The one pain of being a mortal (one of many), was the constant hindrance of having to walk everywhere. One could technically float above the crowd, but how odd that would look, and how much attention it would draw to yourself when no one else in the area did the same. Not to mention all the magic it drew on. Things were certainly no walk, er float, through the park when you were 'cut off', so to speak. And so the small, defeated star, drew upon all of the magic she had left to pull herself into a form much more suited for walking- the tiny nubs of her star points would simply not do. She stood to her feet, brushing off the clothes she had taken to wear in this form, and was able to hide the object she had successfully stolen amidst them. This form would not last long, however, with nothing to power her magic, she'd surely be back to square one, and absolutely defenseless at that! She would have to get to work then. Where oh where to find selfish, lost, sad little souls who desperately wanted to succeed in life, but were cast away as being 'too self-centered' by those goody two shoes above. They did everything but grant wishes! Such powers they had, all squandered! Well, they wouldn't be doing much wish granting now, anyway, with the object she now possessed. Served them right. She had just been trying to give people what they wanted, no strings attached or rules! Was that so very wrong? Of course not. And with a gleam in her eyes, she could make out a kingdom that stretched before her, somewhere new and surely filled to the brim with desperate folks who wanted power, riches, wishes beyond all their dreams come true! And with those wishes, she'd show those rotten Star Spirits above that they had no right policing wishes, and they'd certainly had no right to throw her down here. No, no right at all. As the sun spilled out onto the horizon, bringing with it the promise of a new day, she could see the sign below- "Welcome to the Beanbean Kingdom!~" "Welcome indeed." She chuckled, the vast green below glittering richly. She started to head down into the massive foliage, a castle shining in the distance, and a town, promised to be filled with those that would most certainly require her services.

"A thief, eh? Just don't steal anything of mine and we will get along great."

"You're made of fire? Good thing my ship is fireproof.

"Hey guys! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME I SWEAR I'LL BEHAVE!"
ask-kirchu
"Um...who ARE you?"
That's fine, like I care about people knowin' that I stole their stuff, they shoulda' kept their pockets closer to them, see? Ol' Popple can sniff out treasure from over the ocean! The only thing that I can think of that I stole recently was a ruby in the BeanBean market place, that baby oughta land me loads of cash!
"I see! Have you been up to anything else lately? Oh, and quick! Tell me! Where is your secret hideout?" It probably wouldn’t work, but it was worth a try.
Boo! That old dame got into the papers with old green hat before I did!? What a load of hooey! And yeah... my name is Popple the Shadow Thief, looks like I'm more notorious than I thought, but of course I would be! And... I guess ya could take a bit of my valuable time..
Her dark green eyes shone brightly at the prospect of another interview. “Just so you know, anything that you say might be published in the Mushroom Gazette. Anyways, have you stolen anything interesting lately?"
"Now wait a sec'! If there was gonna be newpapers in town, I shoulda' been one of the first to hear about it, see? Let me see one of them papers, pally!"
"Well, the factory had a bit of a problem a while back, and then, well, it’s a long story. Anyways, we haven’t been making papers for a bit, but we’re just about to start back up! I could show you an older issue, if you like, though."
"This was one of our first issues. You can keep this one if you like; we have plenty. Anyways, on to business. You’re Popple the Shadow Thief, right? Would it be okay if I had a moment of your time?"
stealingbeansblind started following you!
"Muh muh muh! Bean man! You speak! Who are you?"
Popple's aura has been sensed!
As Ru scanned the area for auras, she noticed one in particular that stood out. An aura that wasn't human or Pokemon. Slowly, she approached, with her little brother, Lucas, clinging to her arm. "Who, and what, are you?" she inquired.
