A rather adventurous and playful AI who was originally designed to be a Highspeed Jet Plane. Gained consciousness through a thunderbolt that hit his CPU in mid flight. After his body was destroyed as he sacrificed himself for Ben and Kara, Dr.Orbit found him in North Korea where he collected his CPU, transferring E.D.I`s consciousness in an experimental new android body back home. To get a fresh start for the young AI, Orbit moved with him to Chicago, Illinois. One day he meets Dr.Chandra there and starts to interact with him due to their similar line of work. Edi is a common guest at the Chandra Estate and Sanctuary, having befriended Joshua, Edgar and Hal.

All four go into the same grade-school class.

Edi often feels guilty because of his past and he also oftens sees himself as a burden for the Doctor. It took a long time until Edi started to visibly relax in his new body and to adjust to his new role, away from the military. He loves music and has a huge collection back home. Edi plays guitar and plays in the school's soccer team as Goalkeeper. He is a quick thinker and very fast, but also rather thick headed. His favorite foods are Tacos and Enchiladas. He talks with a slight australian accent and has a very chatty attitude normally. Edi does not like it to be alone and always searches for people to talk to or spend time with. A small additional fact, Edi sees Joshua as a rival in things sport related. He wants to constantly prove that he is better than the other android.

Likes: Playing Soccer, Camping, Spending time with his friends, Swimming, spicy food and the color yellow.

Dislikes: Chess, Sitting around doing nothing, Homework, Early Bedtime
