Hello fellow Irish dancer! As I was scrolling through the "Irish dance" tag, I saw your post of your hard shoes that were broken-in very quickly. What brand are/were they and how did you go about breaking them in so well?

i friend! The shoes I have are Rutherford super flexis. The shoes I had before had brown bottoms which are very difficult to break in. They also had no top straps and the toe pad wasn't squared off, which made dancing in them very difficult! Basically, any shoe would be easier to break in than my old shoes. To me, there are two different ways to break in shoes. You need to make them fit your feet without hurting too much and be able to do your tricks in them. For the first part, I dance in them, walk around the house in them and sleep in them. For the second part, I stand in them for as long as I can in a toe stand and I keep them folded in half over night with hair ties. Hope this helps! If you're still confused message me again!

-Rat

do you have any recurring dreams?

-Actually yes. I have this one where I' climbing the Colosseum with my brother and it's all frozen over and stuff but then I fall. and I keep falling. until I realize that I'm eternally falling.That's when I finally hit the ground

would you rather live underground or in the sky?

-Definitely Sky. above the cloud layer. or at least be able to control my altitude. But at least in the sky I have more control over falling than I do over collapsing earth while underground.

favorite kind of hat? I usually don’t like hats but I recently bought a soft pretty one from the class of something or other and I like that one.

-I'll wear like a... what are they called? skullcaps? beanies? you know, the things skaters wear. But my favorite kind of hat is the aviator. you know, beaver bomber.

what do you want to happen when you die?

I want My mind programmed into an AI, my body cremated, my ashes compressed into a diamond along with my significant other's, and I want that diamond to be launched into space so that we can both adventure through space as ghosts haunting a diamond.

-I regret not realizing what I'm worth, or that I'm important  to myself, or where I want to be, or that I can succeed, until recently.

cold soft pillows. I'm a nord. I like being surrounded by cold.
