Jordan and I both got to wear our flapping wings again to the Edwardian Ball on Friday! I decided on being a steampunk absinthe fairy, though I wish I had something fancier to wear on my arms - I'd forgotten the leather from the harness can be scratchy on my sensitive skin so I had to keep my shrug on and will be on the lookout for something different. I made new wing panels to replace the previous ones, these now have some metal leaf on the tips and a few Swarovskis. Jordan added lights to the back of his wings too. By the time we had a chance to go take video by the gears we were EXHAUSTED 😅 Little did I know I was in the midst of catching a cold that fully hit the next day, so pardon my unimaginative posing. We still don't have any current plans to sell them, but it was fun to play dress up after so long.
