Estelle:
Favourite thing: She's very energetic and she stands out amongst the other protagonists for it. She also doesn't feel that way because she "the girl" of the protags. She brings such a great energy to any game she's in
Least Favourite thing: She's Homophobic, not even willing to Fujo out a bit.
Favourite line: Three way tie between "I have a big stick and know how to use it" "Ul-tra Vi-o-lence" and "Caught you."
brOTP: Her and Kloe, they have such a lovely dynamic and I especially like Kloe taking the 'straight man' role when Joshua's not in the party
OTP: call me basic but it is Estelle/Joshua, local girl likes a canon heterosexual ship, 20 dead 50 injured
nOTP: Kevin, idk why people ship them together but I see it often enough that it makes my skin crawl
Random headcanon: I believe with my whole heart that she is allergic to Oranges
Unpopular opinion: idk what a popular opinion on Estelle would be, but I don't think I have what might be considered a hot take on her
Song I associate with them: A bit Basic to say I strongly associate her with a song from her game but, it really is the battle theme Sophisticated Fight, that is what's playing in her head whenever she smacks something with her staff.
Favourite picture of them: I really like her SC party art, I think one of the downsides of trails is that because it's been running for so long it's changed art styles a few times, and Estelle is one of the characters who hasn't ever really been able to capture the charm of the original art style when you compare her too the new art.
Next, Randy!
Favourite thing about them: Oh this is actually really difficult. He is my favourite character so this really I like all- I'm kidding my favourite part about him is that he's a teacher, and good one at that. I looooooooooove when my favs have similarities with me.
Least favourite thing: Honestly all of his negative character traits are part of what makes me like him but,,,,,, I'm not a big fan of the way he treats Shirley in Cold Steel 3/4 specifically, it was understandable in Azure but I think he should have a changing attitude toward her as well as himself.
Favourite Line: RIP "If this ain't a bruh moment I don't know what is." You'll be missed, anyway, my favourite offical line is "If you keep talking like that, I might forgive myself, which is something I have no right to do!"
brOTP: Him and Tio, they have a very strong dynamic, I'd say they have the strongest inter-party member friendship in the SSS when you're not counting Lloyd (it's a small thing with the earlier trails games, but there's a lot less non protagonist involved, non romantic dynamics, though by Cold Steel they start properly building on inter-party friendships so having such a strong on screen friendship is pretty rare)
OTP: The only thing more embarrassing than shipping a canon heterosexual ship is shipping the mainstream yaoi option, just shoot me dead im so sorry. Randy/Lloyd is great though and it's also very similar to Estelle/Joshua, I'll admit I have a dynamic I like. But! I will give my flowers to his canon love interest in Mireille, because for an npc with very limited lore and screen time she's really memorable, my pretty princess.
nOTP: Randy/Tio, the thing about having a strong friendship between two characters is that they will be shipped together, especially since Tio doesn't have a love interest and Randy's love interest is not a main character and they're the two remaining party members after Lloyd and Elie. So I get why it happens, but that does not change the fact that Tio is 14 and Randy is 21, ew.
Random Headcanon: He has the best handwriting of the SSS, even when writing quickly, although Elie's is fancier, Randy's is more readable.
