Happy Monday !! As we continue to await the applications for round two && the start of gameplay in just one short week, we thought we’d give our existing players an ask box meme to help with headcanons && character development. This will also give future applicants an exploration tool as they fill out their apps && start on their Steel Mists journey !! This is an OPTIONAL task but highly encouraged. If you would like to participate, simply reblog this meme to your character blog && make sure your ask box is turned on !! Kelsier ;; There’s always another secret. Everyone has them, but some more than others. What kind of secrets does your character have ?? Do they have confidants or do they keep them entirely to themselves ?? Are there some that would destroy them if they were to be revealed ??
Marsh ;; Sacrifice can defines us. Has your character ever sacrificed something or someone for the greater good or benefit of themselves ?? What was it ?? How did they cope ?? Or are they still struggling to do so ??
Vin ;; Unexpected powers and responsibilities are often thrust upon us. Is there something your character must endure that they never asked for or wanted ?? How do they handle it ?? Is it something they would move on from if given the chance ??
Elend ;; Defiance can define you. Not every acts according to how they’re expected. Does your character go against the grain or do they go with the flow ?? Why do they do it ??
Sazed ;; Knowledge is power, but ignorance is bliss. Would your character prefer to be omnipotent or would they prefer to live in the dark ?? Why ??
Tindwyl ;; Not everyone is born who they need to be. Some need to be shaped or molded. Is there someone in your character’s life who was a major influence into who they grew to become ?? Is this person viewed with love or loathing ?? What is it they changed about your character ??
TenSoon ;; Immortality is not always a blessing. If your character could live forever -- would they ?? What they do with their gift ?? Would it be used to help others or would they have selfish intentions ??
Hammond ;; True strength isn’t always physical. What does your character view as their greatest strengths ?? Do they differ from strengths that others might perceive them to have ?? Do they take advantages of their strengths or keep them hidden ??
Breeze ;; The pen is mightier than the sword. Is your character good with words or do they stumble to say the right thing ?? Are they able to talk there way in or out of any situation, or is their mouth constantly getting them into trouble ??
Allrienne ;; Appearances aren’t everything. Some people will always surprise you. Does your character have an unexpected skill or personality trait that other’s would be surprised to discover ?? Is it something only close friends get to see or is it open to those willing to look hard enough ??
Spook ;; Everyone has a catalyst in their life, something that defines them. What was a major turning point in your character’s life ?? How did it effect or change them ?? Was it for better or for worse ??
Wax ;; Everyone, at some point, has the desire to runaway. If your character could do so without any consequences-- where would they go ?? What would they do ?? Would they take anyone or anything with them ??
Wayne ;; Not everything stolen is done with bad intentions, and not everything is a materialistic want. If your character could steal or obtain anything without repercussions, what would it be ?? Why do they want it ?? What would they do with it ??
Marasi ;; Everyone strives to be better-- to be more than people expect them to be. What does your character want to change about themselves, if they could change anything ?? What they do with their change ??
Steris ;; Being metalborn isn’t a blessing for everyone. What would your character do if they were to lose their gift ?? Would they be devastated or would they adjust quickly ?? Would they suddenly feel useless, or do they have other gifts and skills to offer ??
