"i'll leave if that's what you want. i swear i was just buying a replacement tool for work," he looked down a little. his eyes were glued to the paper bag in his hand. a new socket wrench that he had needed due to his previous one having been bent by someone else on accident. "but i do miss you, alicent."

"you look as though you've seen a ghost," stefan commented. he wasn't sure who they were, but knew they'd been staring for quite some time. there were many questions and only assumptions to be made until they spoke up.

"i'm a natural at pool, what can i say," stefan laughed as he watched the 8-ball go in and finish the game. it was true he often did win in games such as pool. sometimes he found it easy, but he had observed others play for a while as well too. "another round, perhaps?"

stefan had just helped to break up a fight, a verbal one thankfully, when he realized he had just made them stop with his words. two years on and he was still getting used to it. at least the diet was mostly under control. just as he turned around though he found himself bump into someone else. "sorry about that, are you okay?"

"i'm almost done with this, just a few more seconds," he spoke as his eyes were practically glued to the engine. he tightened the cap with his hand before grabbing the nearby towel. he wiped his hands before taking a couple steps back and closing the hood. "should be all fixed now. i topped off the coolant for them as well."

"sorry, i feel like you were standing there long, were you?" stefan glanced up from his journal. there wasn't anything particularly crazy in it these days, but sometimes a wild thought would pop up. but he often carried a journal around, never knowing he'd get the urge to write.
