Huayangosaurus was an incredibly early stegosaurian, possibly the earliest known. Huayangosaurus fossils can be dated back 165 million years, some 20 million years prior to when Stegosaurus lived. At only 4 metres (13 feet) long, Huayangosaurus is also one of the smallest stegosaurians known.

Had been a while since I did any dino design, hadn’t it? But I got a sale on spoonflower recently, so I thought it’d be fun to do another one. Plus I wanted to work a bit with Krita to see if I should recommend it to my young cousin who’s recently gotten a tablet. I think I will link her to it, but also to some tutorials because it doesn’t have the most instinctive of interfaces (though it does have some of the coolest features out there!)

Usually I wait for a while before uploading ADAD art here, and usually it’s low-res in 10-piece little galleries. But this time I’m uploading Chailingosaurus kuani separately and in full-resolution because throughout this entire piece’s process I kept thinking about all the wonderful and positive messages I’ve been recieving these last couple of days and I worked especially-hard to bring a relaxed, natural pose and bright colors that people have liked so much from my dinosaurs.
So this art is very much a ‘thank you’ piece I want to keep separate as a sort of token of positivity.

Originally thought to be a very primitive stegosaurian, current cladistic analysis places Kentrosaurus as one of the most derived stegosaurs, and a close relative to Stegosaurus.

pansy, new jersey, keep the faith
Gee whiz, I am sorry I took so long to answer.
Pansy: Say you were in a band, how would you describe your stage presence?
Honestly, I guess it would depend on whether or not I’m comfortable with performing and/or the other people in my band at that point. I feel like at first I’d be pretty shy, but as I got more comfortable with it, I would probably be walking around the stage to annoy my band mates, and talk to the crowd. I would definitely be one of those people that climbs shit because, well, I enjoy climbing things.
New Jersey: How do you feel about your hometown?
I mean, it’s okay. Nothing much happens. I like the people more than I like the actual town. In terms of location, it’s pretty cool, because I’m near a bunch of major cities.
Keep the Faith: Share your best piece of advice with your followers.
Just, don’t be a prick to people, even if you think they deserve it. You can assert yourself and defend others, but don’t start drama or unnecessary hate. Basically, what I’m saying is this: Do no harm, but take no shit. Everyone is fighting through life the same as you, even if circumstances and reactions are different.
