"#between this and the wheel of time where am i going to go to fill my natasha o'keefe needs now????"
Hopefully they cast her as Bellatrix 🤞
Oh yes, she would be LITERALLY perfect. She just has it all.

Inbox me (1) thing you want to know about me. - Top three ice cream flavours?
Oh this is tough.
3. Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey
2. Chocolate Peanut Butter
1. The sweet and salty ice cream I had once at a little ice cream shop in Kansas : ')
Honorable mention is raspberry dole whip swirled with vanilla ice cream, since sherbet is technically something different!!

It's interesting how many people are reacting negatively to the portrayal of Kim. Don't remember them having this problem with Kea (hallowed be her name) or Janice.
Yeah, which is strange especially for Janice because she's just a different modern exploration of a stereotypical female villain - the wicked witch.
I think people are particularly sensitive to Kim's depiction because her main "offensive" characteristic is how sexually aggressive and manipulative she is. Which to be clear is depicted as bad, because sexual aggression and manipulation are bad, not because it's a woman doing it (the vibe is more, women can also be sexual harassers and manipulators, and it's just as bad for their targets as when men do it); but since we don't really have a *positive* example of a "sexually active" (straight) woman in Strike, people get suspicious of JKR's intents. But in truth it's not like there are a lot of occasions to show a sexually active woman. The two main characters are the only ones whose lives are really dwelt upon, and Robin isn't interested in casual sex for obvious reasons. Also, men who sleep around are not given a better rep either. The sign of Strike's character progress is, after all, that he's elected to stay celibate for a while. So i think it's a case of readers having a clear double standard here.
As for Kea, she's just not that villaineous, merely (iconic) trash <3 To me she's the Draco of Strike. Absolutely ridiculous and clearly an awful person, but like, she's young and relatable in some ways, and cute, so we stan.
It gets better: Watson managed to accumulate so many points within two years that she got automatically banned, even though she would have known she was on thin ice (you get notified of speeding penalties through the post). Her options were: a) not speed; b) hire a driver (because let's face it, she can afford one); c) get a bike and use that to travel around Oxford like other people. She did none of those things!
I figured as much because you can't lose your permit (even temporarily) for such a small offense unless you'd already been caught enough times to warrant it lol. I also couldn't help but laugh at the way the article casually pointed out that she hasn't been doing any acting since 2019 and has apparently just been selling "sustainable gin" with her brother (i guess even the BBC forgot about her perfume, which is hardly surprising considering how forgettable it is).
Amused by so many people going "SHE'S ON TUMBLR?!" Ladies, did you not read IBH? Did you really think she could create someone like Kea Niven without studying these people like an anthropologist i.e. in their natural habitat? 🤣
