Orctober day twenty-five!!
With schmoop for my first ever Orc Sworn (by @finleyfenn ) fanart! Stella and Silfast, of Clan Bautul, first seen in "Offered by the Orc." I've been a reader of this series on and off since "The Heiress and the Orc" was digitally free for Orctober a few years ago, but have been really diving into the rest of them over the last year or so, and I'm having a VERY fun time. Not only are they all charming romances, but I think this world is SUCH an interesting dialogue on what we were given on Orcs from their origins in fantasy (Tolkien specifically, early DnD specifically) and I think that's a conversation that's REALLY important to keep having, especially these days.
As for Stella and Silfast, they are among my favorite couples. Plus-size, sweet-hearted heroine with an emotionally constipated but completely loving and golden-hearted "monster" love who just wants to keep his people safe, and be loved underneath all that, too?
