Me (a Renthead, WayHaught shipper, and older than probably most of the people on this site): Yay!, Ant’s character is finally getting fully recognized as integral member of the crew, but my good mood is pre-shattered, because the news that just came out, and my soul aches in solidarity with him, ... and Kat Barrell plays “Stella,”(!) ... and “Detective Carl Horvath” plays her dad(!) ...

Who else was me? Why am I asking? Because inclusiveness within the community is important, kiddos, and we deserve to be as well-versed in as much expressions of representation as we can get.

Stella Grimes was the daughter of a well-connected and wealthy arms dealer who fell in love with Harcourt Fenton Mudd, unawares -- or uncaring -- he was a con man who’d wooed her to get an in with her father and his business making weapons for the Klingon-Federation War. Stella told Mudd she loved him despite his flaws of character and shady business and the two were married. Mudd spent much of the engagement and marriage avoiding his wife, who he described as nagging and shrewish, but his viewpoint is biased and as unreliable as he is.
