Stella and Utar try to keep their business and personal lives separate. Emphasis on try. XD;; But when everyone's already clocked out and gone home... where's the harm in a little fun? ;3

Ack-! I hadn't forgotten I promise! I've just been so busy lately. >,<;; Thank you for the ask!! I'll just do the ones I tagged. :3 11) What does your OC carry around in their pockets? What about their bag? On second thought maybe I should only do Dimitri for this one. X'D (jk) Dimitri's pockets: Loose change in his pants, if anything. In his coat he carries a dagger, a journal, a pencil, some fresh sprigs of rosemary, and his trusty flask. Dimitri's bag: At least 2 journals, writing supplies, a few various potions, miscellaneous bags of dried herbs and mushrooms and powders, scalpel, cleaning rag, leather gloves, mortar and pestle, his wallet, a bowl, and usually a few rations of blood. Abigail's pockets: a dagger, her rapier (not really in her pocket but not a exactly in her bag either. it's on her person though) Abigail's bag: Cleaning rag, health potions, a whip, her violin, her wallet, lettering supplies, and a few changes of clothes. Stella's pockets: A pencil, maybe some loose change. Stella's bag: Whatever 4 or 5 books she's currently working on, a journal, a couple of small gemstones (namely quartz), chalk, specialized salts and sands for rituals, and her wallet. Malan's pockets: A knife, keys, her wallet, phone, a pistol. Malan's bag: Bullets, duct tape, napkins, a bag of jerky, her mp3player and earbuds, water bottle, lighter, foldable scissors, and any cool trinkets she happens to find on the streets.

20) How quick is your OC to shift blame? Do they own up to their mistakes, or are they prone to start pointing fingers at others?

Dimitri used to just normally run from problems, rather than trying to shift them to anyone. (Unless it's comedic.) But over the recent years he's started owning up to it. It was better to just admit it than not to anymore... He's hurt a lot of people. The knowledge of that will never leave him.. Abigail immediately owns up to her mistakes, but she's just as quick to set the record straight as accurately as possible. Don't you *dare* think she wouldn't at least give a reasonable argument for her actions.

Stella also owns up to her mistakes. There's only a few times she may run away from the problem itself, but she's not the type to start pointing fingers either.

Malan will also just tell you straight up exactly what happened and why regardless of who she's pointing fingers at. She has perfect memory. There's no point in being coy about it, and giving anything of a false narrative will only immediately destroy people's trust in her abilities. Something she can't afford.

33) How does your OC handle jealousy?

Dimitri isn't the type to get jealous easily. He doesn't want for much, and when he is with the woman he loves, he trusts her to make her own decisions and communicate with him. I'd say the most he'd ever be jealous of is someone's ability to carry more booze than he can. XD;;

Abigail... I'd say she handles it poorly. She's not a brat, and she won't demand to get what she wants. She also wouldn't get jealous over simple things but when she does.. it definitely hurts. She definitely gets frustrated and will distance herself as soon as possible from it. Otherwise things might get kinda.. murdery... XD;;;

Stella doesn't handle it well either. Much like Abigail she wouldn't demand things and it wouldn't be over something petty. But that's what makes it hurt. And she'll isolate herself until she can stop crying, usually beating herself up for not doing better or earning it.

Malan just gets depressed because... well.. what can you do? Someone else got to have a family. Someone else got to live a better life. It wasn't for lack of trying, just a shitty hand that was dealt to her. Getting mad doesn't help with anything. Wishing for a better life isn't gonna get you one.. Just gotta keep working for it.

47) If your OC had to pick a new identity and skip town, what would they come up with? Where would they go?

Dimitri what the fuck did you do... XD;; He'd probably call himself something like "Derek Baker" for a while and lie low in whatever's the nearest town. Or maybe even head up north to eleven territory for a while. He's gotten good at coming up with false names, so it shouldn't be too hard for him.

Abigail's also used to coming up with disguises. She'd probably just hide out in the next town over and call herself "Sam Johnson" or some other common name until things quieted down.

Stella.. Oh baby I don't know what you did but you are the least prepared for this kind of life. XD;; She'd probably go with something like the name of another wizard she's familiar with or something akin to her name. "Star... Helios!" ><;; "M-My name is S-Star Helios!" Good job, honey. XD No one would suspect a thing. As for where she'd go... hm. Good question.. She could certainly fly a good distance.. She may head out to Knorr? It's a coastal city to the east. From there she could either head North into the mountains or South to the woods. Either way poor girl is panicking. XD

Malan... Hm. She'd probably pick a name she's heard before. The more obscure the better. So probably something like "Misty Haze". Dye her hair black. See about getting contacts to change her eye color (they really stand out). It'd be harder for her to change her looks than the other three, (she doesn't have magic like they do), but she could manage. As for where she'd go??? I have no idea. XD Malicity is a huge city. (Something akin to New York). So she'd probably hide out several districts away. Or just go try to live in the wilderness, away from everybody. The hardest part would be to have to worry about her kid brother Dexter... He's attached to her hip, so whatever she decides, she's gonna have to make sure he's safe too.

Valentine's Challenge Day 05: Stella x Utar

The odds of anything ever happening in the known universe are never zero. A butterfly's wingbeat leading to a hurricane is still on the table, however unlikely it may be. Hypothetically, the bigger the swarm of butterflies you have, the more likely your odds are to stir such a phenomenon, but no one's ever really put the theory to test.

But the odds of it happening will never really be zero just the same.

This is especially true for Utar. The chances of the most likelihood scenarios simply increase, for better or for worse. You still won't get a nutjob trying to make hurricanes out of butterflies, unless that nutjob happens to be his brother.

The odds of anything happening outside of the known universe however, is another matter entirely, and something he would still have no control over, regardless.

But the odds still aren't entirely zero, now are they?

So when he was walking down the street of his patron city, how likely would it be that a young woman in another universe just so happened to be pulling bread out of the oven at that moment?

Wanting to deliver it fresh to her father, the young woman would have shuffled some things around in her tiny apartment in the city, and made space for a magic circle while the bread was baking.

And because of this, what are the odds she just so happened to get the spell wrong?

Well…. it's never going to be zero.

Which is why Utar wasn't quite prepared for the flash of light coming from a nearby street, nor for there to suddenly be an owlfolk, looking absolutely dazed. The likelihood that she just so happened to teleport in under where people were lifting a piano was definitely the most plausible thing in this scenario.

"Whoa! Whatchit girly!" one of the movers on the sidewalk with her started barking.

"Aah! S-sorry! I-! Wait- where-?" she took several steps back, trying to get out of the way, but her talons snagged on the leftover rope they were using.

"Hey watch it!" another snapped, trying to push her out of the tangled mess.

"Sorry!" she shrieked, her wings flapping as she tried to pull her feet free of the ropes. "Lemme just-!"

"Buster! What'ya doin!" a third cried, his support for pulling the piano now almost lost as he was distracted by the owlfolk.

"Shit shit shit!" the god suddenly sprang into action, darting down the street to help pull the girl free.

He pulled on her, her tangled feet pulled on the rope. The second guy lost his grip, the third guy pulled back even harder, and the first suddenly ran to help the third, stopping the piano before it got away from them too quickly.

Suddenly colliding with the god and having someone rip the rope off of her feet however, made the owl lose her grip on her basket and staff. Utar stepped on the staff by mistake, stumbling backwards further and causing both to crash hard against the sidewalk.

All within an instance he felt something heavy fall on top of him and something soft press against his lips. He blinked and looked up, only to be met with wide shocked pair of emerald green eyes staring back into his.

"Ah-!" she gasped and instinctively pulled back.

"Er-! S-sorry!" he quickly apologized, moving to sit up as well. "I-I'm sorry- I just- I saw what was happening and I.."

He looked around behind him, found his hat, found her stuff wasn't broken. That was good at least. He picked up his hat and looked back to find her simply staring, eyes wide and red in the face. Which was.. admittedly kind of a first. Normally most people would immediately try to distance themselves from his known bad luck.

"Do- are you hurt? Do you need help?"

The owl simply stared, before reality clicked with her again and she sat up more. "Uh-!?? Ah- y-y-yes?" her wings wrapped around her body. She looked a little timid but.. sweet.

Utar smiled back, got up and dusted himself off, placing his hat back on. "W-well here. Lemme help." he reached down and offered her a hand.

Stella simply gazed back up, wondering what in the world just happened that landed her… here. Wherever "here" was. Her heart was still beating wildly from all of that, but.. looking up into his soft green eyes, she smiled back and carefully took his hand, wondering what were the odds she'd run into such a gentleman?

"I.. think I'm a little overdressed.." Stella fidgeted with a few of her feathers. "Nah. You look fine. Besides, who cares?" Malan reassured her with a confident smile. "Seriously! Night's young. Knock back a few drinks and just have fun." Dimitri encouraged. "Heh.. I'll try..." the owlfolk nodded and looked out across the dance floor. "...think anyone's willing to dance?" "Couldn't hurt to ask I guess?" Malan shrugged and brushed back her green bangs. "Think I'm just gonna vibe with the old man here and enjoy the music. Sorry." "Hey!" Dimitri laughed. "I'm not that old! I'm only 300!"

Nothing really to this. Just a fun little doodle of my protagonists at a party. :3 It's funny because usually Stella's pretty easy about dressing up and Malan usually hates it but for once the opposite was true. XD
