Is it an autism thing that certain tastes give me a headache..?
Sounds like a sensory issue. It could be an autistic thing.
iiaat to be unable to take no for an answer? Like if I ask my mom if I can do something that I only very slightly want to do, and then she tells me no, I'll suddenly be incredibly upset about not being able to do the thing despite never having strongly wanted to do it in the first place
iiaat to reflexively laugh when other people laugh, not because something's funny, but because you grew up learning to play along?
That’s just a people thing
iiaat to have different sensitivities to the same senses at different times? e.g. sometimes i won't notice loud sounds (when i'm hyperfocusing or just deep in thought) but other times loud sounds and especially people talking over each other is very overwhelming and stressful and i'll have to leave the room (can be 🦇✨🌙 stellaluna asks?)
Everyone’s sensitivities are different in different situations, but that does include autistics
- Is it an autistic thing to see something about a SpIn and get really hyper and excited, but kind of like, crash afterwards?? Like once the surge of happiness and energy wears off every tiny noise bothers me and I need to isolate myself and not speak even though I was just really excited? Idk If that’s just me or if it’s a common thing
It’s normal to crash after a period of excitement, but the way that you crash is an autism thing
