been toying with the idea of interceptors being able to mega evolve with their pokemon. heres stell as charizard-X

why is stel, axe and kyle called the interceptor of fate, storms or strings?? (also LOVE the art!! i adore french fry the froslass and it's tax evasion)

So for Stell (she/they) in particular, she’s my main interceptor oc and a paragon. Her Fate title comes from the fact that they’re a great interceptor, but they’re so good at it its consuming them. They have all the traits you’d need to be a great paragon interceptor, kind, determined, never afraid, always willing to help people, but most of it is a front to hide the fact that she’s terrified of her responsibilities. She’s supposed to save the entire world from destruction, and keep all her friends alive when they’re all relying on her, and hide the fact that she’s scared of failing to look like a good interceptor to everyone else. So, they might be one of the only ones that can change the fate of the world, but it’s also fate they don’t get a choice and its slowly eating away at them.. I have ‘surface pressure’ on their playlist lol
Kyle (he/him) is my renegade interceptor and an experiment in ‘what would it take for a good person to commit truly terrible things?’ Turns out the answer is an undying thirst for revenge against Madame X and a strange deity (Karma’s evil cousin) manipulating him into destroying the world for its entertainment. He doesn’t really want to be here but he doesn’t get a choice… hence the ‘strings’ title. He’s a puppet.
(The other Kyle is him but in an alternate universe where he managed to get back onto paragon via debug, his title translates to ‘Defiance’ smile)
Axe (he/him) is another paragon interceptor but mainly an experiment in ‘hey what if I built a guy who fights using weather’ so he fights exclusively with weather teams, hence the Storms title. He’s also intentionally made to be a counter to Storm 9 but I forgot like half the lore for that so I haven’t expanded on it too much.. he just gets some silly elemental abilities for now
