Days 9-11
Well, now that I'm no longer working for the weekend, I find myself waiting for the weekend. Solo daytime adventuring gets old very quickly, especially for an extreme extrovert like myself.
I have also found that I have lost all sense of a general weekday curfew and I'm sure my friends are tired of hearing, "Let's get another round, I don't have to work tomorrow!"
Yes, these were all mine. What? I'm supposed to go to a brand new cidery (or whatever you should call a cider brewing company) and NOT try them all? Weekday Uber drivers LOVE me.
But the weekend, ahh the weekend. Finally the world is ready to play, and play we do.
In honor of the Olympics, we arranged a bowling show down. The concept was simple: Pair off, choose a country, create a costume, and bowl your heart out.
Teams include: The good ol' US of A, Spain, Germany, Russia and the regional choice of "Southern Asia and the Pacific." We attempted to involve international brews, but really, in Colorado, why not stay local? Come to think of it, I bet weekend Uber drivers love me too.
Weekend fun is that much sweeter due simply to good company.
Monday always comes too soon.
