All my professional, and educational, life there was a dress code specifically for shoes.
"Black shoes, open or closed toe".
I have tons of black shoes but always wanted something to stand out a tad. Share some sparkle and personality. But I was always too nervous to make a scene. So, basic black wedges were my go-to. Still are.
I heard about AliveShoes, who create custom shoes. I decided I'd give my little dream of creating a black shoe with flair. Something that the dress code would try to give you a flag for, but you could just say "It's a black shoe".
I wanted something stylish, fun, and with flair.
So I designed these:
I think they're pretty neat. But this is way outside my comfort zone. So I'm only sharing it here for now. 😅
I've been on Tumblr for such a long time and of all the platforms I'm on, you all are the most trusted. You'll tell me if it's time to hang up this silly idea or if I should pursue this little STEMstyle design.
