The coagulation cascade: made complicated to make easy
This is a bit more intensive/silly, but it’s so totally worth it. An upperclassman passed this along to my first year class for biochemistry and I’ve been using it ever since. I feel the other diagrams (especially in FA) are so redic and my brain wouldn’t handle them, but I can still draw this thing in my sleep and I haven’t looked at it in months.
Once you kinda get the story down, you can draw that final image in two seconds flat. You can also tweak it to make it more complete for you. Add in where Protein C/S bind. Underline the factors that are Vitamin K dependent. Go nuts
*I don’t know who made this or where it comes from to credit it, but I think they very well deserve to be credited. If you know what brain this came from, let me know!
Love my classmates and all
But one of the most annoying things is when your procrastinating classmates make their rounds in the library and talk to other people

When you quantify time by number of UWorld questions. Examples: I'm going to shower in about 5 questions. Yes, I can meet you for happy hour, give me 2 questions I'll be fast I swear. What's a funny YouTube video to watch? I'm gonna take a study break in 7 questions.
This isn’t like a “mnemonic” really, but it’s a beautifully simplified way to remember all you need to know for Step.
