Guys, I'm so excited!! I read a couple skin-colouring tutorials because I thought my style is so... plastic??... and I THINK I FINALLY have something I like and that looks SO much better than my old one. Old is left, new is right... I think it adds so much life to my style, and I went back and fixed the colouring on all my current WiPs, and AHHH okay! Your girl also found some amazing new brushes for Procreate. I'm so happy.

And yes, that's John as The Witcher. I just finished the Witcher 3 a bit ago, and it's a universe that LIVES for a Sherlock AU of it... I need it LOL. This is a BIG detailed piece and won't be done for awhile, but I'm always about cheering for the small victories for myself. <3

Blue Springs is my favorite state park in florida- if you happen to be near, I definitely recommend it. I've only ever gone on spring mornings though- when there are lots of manatees and alligators, not sure how it would be in the fall, but you can rent a canoe or kayak :)

Sorry to add to the Bagged Milk Discourse, but in India too we have bagged milk that we get in like half litre or one litre packs, and we ALSO have bagged curd/yoghurt, but instead of a container for the bag, we just pour the milk straight into a saucepan-vessel type thing. Just thought it would be interesting to share lol :)

This is for the Nonny who said she is demi,wants to have sex w/her BF, but doesn't get aroused: Are you on hormonal birth control? MANY women find it kills their libido, and esp. if you have been on it since puberty (as many of us were) you may not realize. (I didn't!) Doctors too often fail to warn of this side effect. To be clear, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with low sex drive, at all! Just wanted to put this possibility out there since Nonny said she was unhappy.

Thanks Nonny for your advice! I had NO IDEA about this!! I’m not and have never been on birth control so I didn’t know that these side effects could occur.  I hope the other Nonny sees this, maybe looks into this being another cause! And you’re right, Lovely, there’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with the other Nonny, but information is important and it’s possible they didn’t know this either! <3

hey, just wanted to point out that Sir Henry was turned into Genry in the Old Russian Holmes movies because russian doesn't have the letter H. Traditionally H was often turned into G in russian. So in Russian there's actually a "Robin Good" and Ernest Haycox is called "Gaycox".:) With Holmes they used a different strategy and transcribed the name by turning H into a "kh"-sound similar to how you would pronounce Khanukkah.:) So, it's not a subtitle fuckup. It's what they're actually called in R.

Spin offs of shows often get shoved onto BBC 3 (e.g. Torchwood) and if there's something on, e.g. Wimbledon, normal shows can get shoved on there too? But using BBC 3 would do the exact same thing for the BBC company as BBC one, except it would also promote the online channel and leave it quieter, longer, as BBC 3 doesn't have a schedule so they don't need to declare it. So it's not completely implausible. I didn't realise there was a whole thing between the channels though... The more you know.

The phrase "How long have you worked here" when asked by management is a sign of turnover (Also seen used in movie 'office space'). When asked the way Culverton Smith asked it, it is a form of threat to an employee. The rest of the line is "... do you want to continue to work here?" It is a very common and old work-place threat that states that emphasizes that the person asking the question can get you fired.

I just wanted to chip in on the Christening debate and say that celebrating Christmas definitely isn't indicative of religion in the UK - it's a national holiday, and my atheist family have always celebrated it, and so do lots of other Atheist and non-Christian religious families (in fact, the only person I know who doesn't celebrate it is Jewish).

Also, re. 'Christening aren’t soley Christian – other branches of Christianity also christen children (my family is Roman Catholic, and both my sister and I have been baptised, and I’m sure there are other sects as well)' - is that not still Christian? I would consider any denomination of Christianity 'Christian', Catholicism included.

Thank you for this, Brontë! Like I mentioned, I’m not all that familiar with religion anymore (I’m far from religious myself), but it still fascinates me to learn how different countries and religions “work” (for lack of a better term ;p)
