Sooooo for Project Hail Mary I've been seeing lots of people's Eridian OC's and I especially love the wierd ones that look like human objects. I have made two! They are siblings and based the first thing I thought of which was just a video I saw on European people reacting to bagged milk. As you may not know, I am Canadian. In Canada we happen to have bagged milk. Anyway these two are the different milk packaging:
As it's shown there, Grace would have named them Carton and Bagged and their last names are both Milk. So we have Bagged Milk and Carton Milk.
For the design I didn't love the shading of Bagged and it kind of made them look freakier so I also have the other shading for you guys. It's not super great, though, because I was too tired to do it super well. But I guess bagged milk is freaky so it's not that bad.
Carton is the older of the two and the more adventurous. They were born with a gemstone on the front of their carapace and it happens to be in the shape of a heart. They have a carving that resembles one of those codes you scan at the store. The top of their carapace, where you would open a normal milk carton, is where their ventilators are.
Bagged is the younger one. They have very small holes that serve as their ventilators at the top of their carapace which from far away look like bubbles. Their two front legs have one claw that helps with balance and resembles the handle on a milk bag pitcher. They're fifth arm is on the back of their carapace and also looks like a handle for a milk bag pitcher. It is not visible if you have them from the front since it doesn't actually touch the ground.
