MESSAGE TO UK WHOVIANS
Starting on Saturday 27th September, the BBC is airing repeats of Doctor Who on BBC Three at 7:10PM (starting with The Eleventh Hour and covering all of Matt Smith’s run) this is important because they don’t often air Doctor Who repeats outside of the latest season anymore, and is likely happening to gauge interest in Doctor Who and will influence their decision on whether to renew for another season or not (with or without Disney).
Doctor Who repeats are pretty rare from the BBC now, so it’s clear this is happening to get an idea of current interest.
I urge you all to please tune in if you have the time so that we can show in the viewing figures that audiences do still care, and also to show them WHAT we want from Doctor Who as, if the ratings are up for viewership of these older episodes they may see we want a return to that sort of formula.
This is our chance to help ensure the future of our favourite programme! Please don’t waste it! :D
