"Brooklyn Sunburn" by Teen Daze featuring Steph Thompson

I heard this song on someone else's blog (Conscious Flow, thanks mane) and loved it, so I seek for it on soundcloud and the artist actually had their own account and the song posted so, here it is for me to share with you.  I love how chill it is, how many times the programming of the beat changes, and the harmonizing vocals in the back carries it, great edm tune.

Geçtiğimiz ay içerisinde haberini paylaştığım Steph Thompson'ın solo çalışması Steffaloo'nun ilk vinyl EP'si On Fire bu hafta içerisinde Jaxart bandrolüyle dağıtılmaya başladı. Vinyl aynı zamanda On Fire'ın Sun Glitters remixinin dijital bonusunu içeriyor.

Steffaloo'nun önceki işlerini karıştırırken Blackbird Blackbird ile kaydettikleri EP'ye denk geldim. Gayet müstesna 3 kayıt ihtiva ediyor.

Steffaloo, nam-ı diğer Steph Thompson, Nisan ayında debut albümü Meet Me In Montauk'u yayımladıktan sonra Ağustos ayı içerisinde Jaxart etiketiyle ilk vinyl EP On Fire'ı paylaşacak. Blackbird Blackbird, Germany Germany, Sun Glitters ve Billy Comfort gibi isimlerle yaptığı işbirliklerinden ötürü tatmin edici referansları var. Tatmin edici bir proje.

Steffaloo - The Letting Go

The indefinite has obscured the clarity we never attained. I search through our anthology of memories that lay beneath my bed as if it is a portfolio carrying my choice. In the search I stomp across nostalgia. As my step stampedes across the coveted I am destined to see that what I sought is not there, for if we were what we mislead to be, the beauty would never need to be beguiled. Relinquish the regret I repeatedly remind myself, repudiate the remorse I say, and run. So I ran. The impeding indecision, now merely a memory, as all that I paraded my pride upon ever was. Harmonious is the heartbreak, assumed misery is melodic, my running rapture is rhythmic. 

Steph Thompson sings what we all wish we had the words to even whimper.  She communicates the uninhabited with an immaculacy that I have always longed for in an artist. So let your mind run as it has always yearned to, let it trace the imagery of the track without cluttering it with cacophony like it so often may.
