Highly recommend the YouTuber Stephanie Lange, especially for women who have adolescent girls. She talks about the relevance that social media plays in regards to body image and self image/esteem, with examples from instagram/tiktok, etc. I think it’s a good resource to sit and watch with younger girls, and talk to them about how what you see online isn’t real, and that most of the time it’s smoke/mirrors for sponsorships and revenue based on unrealistic body image, monetary gain, and overconsumption. I’ve binged most of her videos in the series and deem it safe to watch with pre-teens/teenagers and have proper conversation over the topic 💕
SN: she also has videos on the unrealistic expectations and body image of mothers, the “yummy mummy” and “mommy makeover” fanaticism, and the actual reality of pregnancy, motherhood, and body changes in regards to becoming a mother
the REAL reason you're ugly without makeup.

Y’all need to start watching Stephanie Lange on youtube she does a great series on body positivity and the beauty standards around the world. It’s basically what tumblr did back in 2011-13 and it’s really important to go back and relearn how dangerous and harmful beauty standards are
