Gorgon Hunts Logan's Runts.
Gorgon assaults children, so-called Bushidó code called into question!
Above: Burning cinders, whipping vines and glowing girls!
They say chivalry is dead, and now so is Bushidó it seems. The Gorgon, feared by many, revered by few, was once the infamous leader of Japanese death cult: Dawn of the White Light. The child prodigy turned mass-murder now has ties with The Hand and Hydra, and once took the name and mantle of Wolverine under one of the so-called Dark Avengers incarnations.
Above: Gorgon dodges laser turrets to confront Armor-chan!
It is curious that he would don the mantle of Mr. Howlett since they are such bitter enemies, as proven by a series of recent attacks on JGS. A master of infiltration, he bypassed their high-tech security and aggressive defence mechanisms to deliver a message: Logan is next.
Above: Shocking silence - students wonder if they've killed...
But where is the courage, rectitude, or honour in the attempted maiming if not murdering of your enemy's children? Even if you take the biassed opinion that the mutant school is grooming young warriors - which they assure us time and again is not the goal of JGS by any means - these kids are barely aware of their own abilities much less masters of them.
Above: Marvellous appearance, Ms Summers joins fray!
Our researchers tell us The Hand was historically founded on principles of power to the people, a movement geared towards a shift of power away from an oppressive feudal class system. Now it's a bunch of bullies and cowardly criminals?
Above: Sundered earth, one triplet summons spikes of rock.
Long term Japanese student, Hisako aka Armor, was singled out by the dishonourable villain, while fresh recruits the Tennant triplets assisted her with what instinctive power they could muster. One tased and dazed with sparks, one sundered the very earth, and one - or rather many copies of him - fired a barrage of cinders but set himself on fire at one point. The Gorgon eventually fell foul of the multiple attackers, but he wasn't down for long.
Above: Psychic warriors save the day, Armor lays motionless.
His defeat was a feint, and after fast-healing he rose to battle Rachel Summers aka Marvel Girl, who was soon joined by Psylocke. They assaulted the Gorgon's mind while he blurred around the courtyard, slashing all the students. His sword bypassed all apparent defences, and only by the combined mental attacks did he succumb. One ninja smoke-bomb later, he was gone.
The students are presumed to be recovering from their wounds as no fatalities have been announced.
