Casting for Guys and Dolls at the RAH
Casting has been announced for the Royal Albert Hall’s production of Guys and Dolls which will be staged this October.
The production will be directed and choreographed by Stephen Mear and will star Adrian Lester as Sky Masterson, Jason Mansford as Nathan Detroit, Meow Meow as Miss Adelaide, Clive Rowe as Nicely Nicely Johnson and Joe Stilgoe as Benny Southstreet.
The performers will be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and will perform numbers such as Luck Be A Lady, Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat and Adelaides Lament.Set in 1940’s New York, Guys and Dolls follows the story of notorious gambler Sky Masterson as he takes a chance and begins to fall in love with Sarah Brown, a Salvation Army worker who is on a mission to clean up the sinners on Broadway.
Will Sky change his ways? Will Sarah learn to live a little? And most importantly … Will Miss Adelaide getting her wedding after 14 years of engagement?
Guys and Dolls last ran in the West End and toured the UK in 2016 and received rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
