Working in a fast and furious environment- in this case, a construction site, we don't get photographs of a lot of our work ! The upstairs walls in this penthouse were of a dusty, dead-flat style of Venetian Plaster. Paired with the odd stone slabs, it is a grand and inviting stop enroute to the sundeck....

So, after finishing  a very painterly, "Fresco walls" look to the project- I took my clients' old photos and frames and made an arrangement....now the room has a more manicured look- ancient with modern touches....

Some of my clients like to live inside of a painting.......and I love to paint!

Being lucky enough to have clients who think as you do is a blessing- in this case a shared love of Renaissance Art, Italian Culture is making a room done as a living fresco come alive.  This column is a 'study' the design inspired by pre-Renaissance Sienese painting....we'll see how the room unfolds.....
