Wow, guys. I got distracted and wrote 4k words of Stephen/Clea/Stephen smut. O.O   it kind of got away from me half way through and I don’t know but here it is!

I got a fic prompt idea. Clea/Stephen ballroom dancing

Clea caught Stephen's hand and spun lightly, her feet smooth across the dancefloor.  Her dress, a light lavender color with fabric that was as soft as feathers, floated outward around her ankles with the motion.  

She laughed gleefully.  Her head thrown back as Stephen pulled her in toward him until her breasts touched his chest.   She put a hand to the collar of his pristine black suit momentarily to steady herself.  

"I didn't mean to take you by surprise," Stephen says in an apologetic tone.  One of his hands wrapped delicately around hers, fingers wound close together.  

Clea smiled and they took up simpler steps of the dance again.  "Please, don't apologize.  I enjoyed it."   She caught his quick grin before saying, "Although it is true that you have quite a bit more experience."

"Don't worry, you're a quick study."

"At least I'm not stepping on your toes any longer," she laughed again, a delightfully harmonious sound.  

"That is a relief," he smirked.  

Clea pinched Stephen's chin then fell back into sync with Stephen's movements.  

"Let's do the part where you spin me again," she suggested playfully.  

The music carried on and neither of them paid much mind to the dancers around them on the floor.  Clea immersed herself in the experience where only She, Stephen and the music mattered.  Stephen was incapable of sparing any of his intention for anything beyond Clea, as she and the way she joyfully turned and moved in his arms was all that mattered.

Stephen and Clea Strange

I was asked for some places to go for Clea and Stephen's relationship.  I was trying to really narrow it down but had a lot of trouble as their relationship spans a good chunk of time and goes through stages.  So, baaah sorry.  There's a lot more of them, small moments and stories where they do shit together but these issues here are ones where I think there's something really significant going on.

not all of these are necessary to read or anything for an idea of how they interact. The volume 2 stuff is probably where you're going to find the ones with strong Clea growth and where most of their strength and weaknesses as a couple are shown.

okay. let me try and do this. aaah i wish i was better at remembering issue numbers.  i'm way too lazy right now to upload all these individually, i apologize.  so you can find them all through my doctor strange or clea posts.

Strange Tales v1 #126-127: Super early days. Clea and Strange meet. Clea is still a resident and subject of the Dread Dormammu in the Dark Dimension.  Strange is sent by the Ancient One to go fight Dormammu.  Clea takes an interest in Strange, following him and trying to help.

Doctor Strange v1 #171-174 - Stephen gets Victoria Bentley to help him save Clea from being banished. 174 establishes for the first of many times that Clea initiates a lot of things.

Doctor Strange v1 #175 - Out on Earth for the first time, Clea has a hard time adjusting.  Cute early Stephen and Clea moments.

V1 176-177 - Clea is captured and used to attack Stephen.  They are both banished from Earth and must survive and find their way back.

V1 180 - Stephen and Clea celebrate New Years

Doctor Strange V2 #1-5 - Clea puts on a teasing magic show.  Later she is captured and Stephen must face death to save her.   Their moments are spread throughout the story arc but it's a story worth reading.

v2 #6-8 - A threat takes Stephen back to the Dark Dimension.  Eventually Clea is driven to help and she and Stephen join to fight together.

v2 #10 - One of the first moments that shows the difficulties Stephen and Clea have with the Master/Disciple vs Lovers lines.

v2 #15 -  Stephen broods and Clea becomes upset he doesn't share the burden.

V2 #17-19 - Clea and Stephen travel back in time.  Clea grows more upset with Stephen's distance.  She may or may not have slept with Benjamin Franklin.  Stephen struggles with jealousy.

v2 #29 - Clea and Stephen wanted to get it on but are interrupted.  Stephen takes off to aid in a mystery/fight and Clea, to her frustration, is left behind.

V2 30 - Clea confronts Stephen on his bullshit and he apologizes and they get cuddly... before being interrupted again.

V2 36-37 - Clea and Stephen visit Victoria Bentley.  Clea gets jealous and Stephen is oblivious.

V2 38 - Clea takes Stephen out.  it's super cute.

V2 39 - Clea tries to comfort Stephen.  The story takes them on different paths for a bit after this issue.

V2 43-44 - Stephen and Clea make out in the sky and cuddle on a cliff.  Clea has trouble dealing with her role as Disciple and yet not having very much magical power.  Clea uses the Eye of Agamotto to save Stephen.  They make out some more.

V2 45-47 - a great issue that highlights more struggles of the Stephen and Clea's duel relationship.  With a great little mini story of Stephen and Clea having a moment on a beach where they again battle their multifaceted relationship.

V2 49-50 - Clea and Stephen have tantric astral sex and Clea is super into it.  Then Morgana Blessing is brought into the picture and Clea struggles with jealousy again.

V2 51-52 - Through a mystical connection Clea detects Morgana's centuries long love for Stephen and struggles with this.  She loses confidence in her and Stephen's love for each other.

V2 53 - Clea leaves Stephen, ending their relationship and going to fight in the Dark Dimension.  Stephen is shocked and falls into a depression.

V2 54 - Stephen, in a severe low point, thinks back on Clea and remembers a happier story of them working together.  He decides he will chase after Clea but ends up lacking the focus and emotional stability he can not perform the complex magic to do it.

V2 55 - Stephen's dark mood at Clea's leaving him continues.  Enter D'Spayre to feed on his anguished feelings.

V2 71-74 - His hand being forced, Stephen must travel to the Dark Dimension to help in the battle against Umar.  He and Clea meet face to face for the first time since she left him.

Strange Tales v2 1-2 - Topaz tries to help mend Stephen's splintering grasp on his humanity.  She summons Clea.  Clea and Stephen confront each other and shit gets feel heavy.

St Tales v2 18 - Stephen admits and embraces his love for Clea.

Doctor Strange V3 2-3 - Clea comes to Earth and helps fight Dormammu, saving Stephen.  They embrace, cuddle and shit. and then get married.  Establishing a long distance relationship with Stephen on Earth and Clea ruling the Dark Dimension.

V3 12-13 - Enchantress and other things happen to Stephen and Clea comes in to save his butt.  A big hit of the changed dynamic of their relationship.

V3 21-24 - Stephen goes to the Dark Dimension to visit Clea and is confronted with Clea trapped by Dormammu.  Stephen and Clea basically get joined painfully as punishment and left to rot.

V3 30 & 32 - Stephen had put Clea to sleep in a dumb attempt to keep her safe or something.  She wakes up and is PISSED.  they make up

V3 35-36 - Clea points out some of Stephen's control issues.  Then they're happy at the end.  This is Infinity Gauntlet shit.  Stephen and Clea make out in front of a crowd again.

V3 38 - Just a good Clea and Stephen issue.

V3 67 - a lot of shit has happened and Clea's been in the Dark Dimension again and Stephen is going through a lot of crazy asshattery.  Clea comes back to Earth to try see if Stephen can help her.  Seeing his predicament she realizes he can't and they get to kind of say actual goodbyes. Going long distance again to fight their separate battles.

V3 83 - Stephen tries to get to the Dark Dimension to help Clea but finds himself lacking the power necessary.
