On April 22, 2015 - 18 year old unarmed #WilliamChapman was shot in the face by officer #StephenRankin in front of #WalMart in #Portsmouth Virginia. This was the 2nd individual that this officer had slain unarmed via excessive force .. #WilliamChapman was handcuffed while deceased and the handcuffs remained on his deceased body onto the medical bed .. This case has made #international headlines , yet still has not "hit home" .. Not a whisper .. Not a stir .. We humbly come to the 757, and all of Virginia asking you to stand for this injustice in our own local area .. 1st degree murder is the charge. Stephen Rankin was found guilty , and was sentenced to 2 1/2 years. He has since been released. Former officer Stephen Rankin is now attempting to have a new trial to have all charges dropped, if this were to happen Stephen Rankin would be free to become an officer and kill yet again. The first individual that Stephen Rankin killed was shot 11 times! Call to action: Please join us in Richmond Virginia on Tuesday February 26th, 2019 in support of the Chapman family , and other victims of police brutality to take a stand against police brutality! Court trial will take place at 8am - Peace rally to take place 11 am @ the Richmond Bell Tower.
