Spoilerish thought, but...

The more I see him, the more I think to myself... Damn... Odin made that.

Kind of a Dion analytic thought, but...

Every time Dion speaks to his father, he always gives him a flower for his armor.

A wyverntail, as we come to learn.

Bahamut is a dragon/wyvern.

And each time his father gives him this flower, he's sent off to return back to fight for his kingdom.

For the true power of Sanbreque.

So it also is a bit of a thematic thing...

That Dion's father only ever sees him as the wyvern, Bahamut.

And each time the flower falls or is ruined, it's another symbolic sign that leads to Dion's resentment of this role as well as his fall.

Every now and then, I think back on these lads, and I think to myself...

"Man... I got PAID to write jokes about rice cookers, Harry Potter parodies, and pussy (cats) for these guys."

It makes me happy to know that the scripts I wrote for some of them inspired the devs to make them into full characters. Lovely fans!
