Me about halfway through watching Disenchanted:

Can’t go to the kitchen without permission.

Can’t wash clothes at in the evening (which is almost always the only time I’m home).

Can’t go into the living room without permission.

Can’t watch t.v. In the living room because of “boundaries”.

Can’t cook without letting her know a day in advance.

Can’t walk in through the back door (even in horrible weather) I have to walk around the house and come in through the front.

Can’t even go to the kitchen to get my dogs food without asking for permission.

I need to shower after getting off work at 11 pm? Can’t do that.

But I’m family, right?

The shit I have to live with because of my stepmom.

It sucks not being able to be comfortable in your own home and not being able to afford to even move out.
