#healing is progress... kind of cool to see it laid out side by side... and, it’s been almost 1 month since I was discharged from the hospital! From the top left going across: 1. Initial #xray of the #brokentibia on 10/18 2. Taken after the #externalfixator was placed in order to allow swelling to go down in order for them to do the #surgery to place the #boneplate in. 3. Exfix has been removed, bone plate has been placed and is held in by 6 screws. 4. First #dressingchange before being discharged from the #hospital 5. About a week after being discharged, I have my first follow up appointment with an #orthopedicsurgeon over at #slocumorthopedics with dressings, sutures and #steristrips removed (steristrips are the shit by the way). And finally, 6. Today is 11/21 and I am just waiting for the last remaining scans to fall off the bottom two #incisions where the exfix was placed. Those last two are being very stubborn, and I wish they would go away because I want to go to the hot tubs again, damnit.
