Detail of stern wheel, Yukon River steamship at Whitehorse, Yukon, 1974.
Sadly a few weeks after this photo of the historically preserved steamers was shot, an arsonist did irreparable damage to several of the boats, including this one.
The entire ship be rocking cause we got a strong western wind on our starboard side.
Scenes from home, past and present.
The sternwheelers Annie Russell and Alice B. Miller on the Mississippi River at Vicksburg, 1907.
