3 Months, 2 Weeks, and 6 Days Without Topical Steroids
SO I’m pretty pissed at this pharmacist. I’m home for the holidays so I asked the pharmacist if she could request a refill for an old Protopic prescription. I’ve done this before, and if she had just told me “I don’t have this on file for some reason” it would have been totally fine. But she was super confused and was like “do you mean *insert totally different medication*?” And I was like “umm no, it’s Protopic. And if it helps it is NOT a steroid and it comes in a yellow and white box.”
So she was like “...............okay I’ll have it ready for tomorrow! :)”
SO this morning I was putting it on when I realized THE BOX DIDN’T SAY PROTOPIC! IT SAID THE SAME OF THE INCORRECT PRESCRIPTION SHE HAD SUGGESTED (YOU KNOW, THE ONE WHICH I SPECIFICALLY SAID WAS NOT THE PRESCRIPTION I WAS TRYING TO REFILL?)! SO BASICALLY SHE JUST ASSUMED I WAS WRONG AND GAVE ME A FUCKING STEROID THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE PROTOPIC (YA KNOW, AFTER I SPECIFICALLY SAID IT WAS NOT A STEROID?)!
So I had to quickly scrub it off which hurt like holy hell and I threw it in the trash. Oh I’m so mad. Like instead of just assuming I don’t know what I’m talking about you could have just said I need to call my doctor because it’s no longer on record like it’s so damn irresponsible to give someone the wrong prescription bc you think you’re right.
3 Months, 1 Week, and 5 Days Without Shampoo:
No offense, but my hair looks freaking amazing. It’s so shiny, fluffy, and soft. I only have to let it air-dry and it looks flawless.
I remember seeing people who would go swimming and then just let their hair air-dry afterwards, without immediately having to shower and blow dry to prevent crazy frizzy fly-aways. I would be like “how, how does your hair just look a little wavy from the water?” Well now I am one of those people. It’s so crazy my hair is not longer temperamental or greasy AT ALL. Currently I’m on winter break, so the air is dry and I’m doing literally nothing that would make me sweat. So I haven’t even had to wash with baking soda in like four weeks.
People have been commenting saying it looks like my hair has been freshly sampooed despite having not done anything but brush it under the shower head. I love brushing my hair because it just feels so smooth and looks so pretty. 10/10 would recommend quitting shampoo and conditioner.
