In October 2019, Harvey guest starred on two episodes of the sci-fi comedy podcast Voyage to the Stars, playing a mysterious wish-granting being named Nibor!
Check out the episodes here and here.
The podcast stars Felicia Day, Colton Dunn, Janet Varney, Kirsten Vangsness, and Steve Berg.
Sometimes we do need that ‘shock’ to nudge us closer to how we can ‘level up’.

(Hopefully by this point you’ve finished all four seasons of ‘The Good Place’, the kind of person who isn’t bothered by spoilers, or are just deciding if you still want to keep watching.)

As I rewatched the scene that cut into a flashback of Eleanor’s time on earth (an illustration that her goal is always giving herself the upper hand --- and thus resulting in her happiness), I didn’t realise that it was Eleanor having an epiphany. My initial impression of these flashback scenes have more to do with being given information (and the rule of ‘show not tell’).
So now...every time there is a flashback sequence...I am going to keep an eye on that specific character’s reaction (and a sign if they are the one remembering the incident).

HIGHLIGHT:
INT. ELEANOR AND CHIDI'S HOUSE - DAY
Reference books are out and CHIDI's trusty chalkboard has two columns: Questions and Fears. It initially seems like it's for the student to answer, but upon closer inspection, it's actually a Pro/Con list for CHIDI. Should he continue giving lessons to ELEANOR?
CHIDI
What country am I from?
ELEANOR squints at him and sighs.
ELEANOR
Is it racist if I say Africa?
CHIDI
Yes, and Africa is not a country. I am from Senegal.
ELEANOR is about to defend herself but doesn't get a chance to. CHIDI is on a roll!
CHIDI
Do I have any siblings? Where did I go to college?
ELEANOR
Trick question. You didn't.
She smiles triumphantly.
CHIDI
I was literally a college professor. Do you not remember one single thing about me?
ELEANOR
Dude, things have been nuts around here.
She approaches him. Confident in her rebuttal.
ELEANOR
I bet you don't know anything about me.
CHIDI
You were born in Phoenix. You went to school in Tempe. You're an only child. You're favorite show is something called 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta', and your favourite book is Kendall Jenner's Instagram feed.
ELEANOR is shocked...impressed....
ELEANOR
How did you know all that?
CHIDI
Because you are constantly talking about yourself. You are the most self-obsessed person I have ever met.
ELEANOR chuckles.
ELEANOR
You should see Kendall Jenner's Instagram feed.
CHIDI
Okay, this is my fear about you, Eleanor. You are too selfish to ever be a good person.
The girl from Arizona crosses her arms.
ELEANOR
Well, I think you're worng.
CHIDI
What country am I from, again?
ELEANOR
Sen...
This is easy...she can do this....
ELEANOR
...sodyne.

"Yes, but you've kind of missed the point. I mean, it's not about trying to get away from each other. It's actually about having a reason to be around each other. You know?"
“America is a young country. We don’t have these old cathedrals. We don’t have the big columns of Greece. But what we do have is this natural wonder of beautiful trees and fucking rivers and all this wonderful shit. These are our cathedrals. These are our museums. These are American treasures and fuck they’re incredible.” –Steve Berg on Drunk History: National Parks
