I just read Time Warrior: How To Defeat Procrastination, People-Pleasing, Self-Doubt, Over-Commitment, Broken Promises And Chaos, by Steve Chandler, and absolutely love this excerpt.
Not only have I found this true for myself, on the receiving end of support / coaching / teaching / guidance, but it also aligns with my experiences as a dance teaching artist at the elementary level; Rarely do individuals (little & big) respond well to criticism (even when it’s constructive, and even when it’s skillfully delivered). I’ve found that embodying inspiration wins out most of the time.

In celebration of #NationalBookLoversDay, here is what I have been reading lately: 50 Ways To Create Great Relationships by #SteveChandler, Abundance Now by #LisaNichols & still working on Jean Santeuil by #MarcelProust. I just finished Steve Chandler’s book & based on the amount of highlighting and marginality that took place on behalf of my own doing, I would highly recommend it! It is an easy read & has lots of great life nuggets. What have you been reading lately? (at Pasadena, California)

"All fear comes from picturing the future. Putting things off increases that fear. Soon we are nothing but heavy minds weighing down on weary brains. Too much future will do that." - Steve Chandler
