Do you do crossover, and are you familiar enough with Doctor Who, because... Imagine Steve Rogers x Jack Harkness
Steve meets a soldier during World War I in London. He’s on leave, taking the chance to explore the city, by himself and anonymous. Just another soldier on the streets.
A man brushes past him and Steve shoots his arm out, grabbing his wrist. “Hey, man,” he says, meeting his gaze. “I’d like my wallet back, if you didn’t mind.”
The man grins and tilts his head. “Usually people don’t catch on until later.”
Steve smirks and holds out the man’s watch. “I’m not most people.
The man laughs, eyes going dark and appreciative. “I’m Jack,” he says. “How about I buy you a drink for the trouble?”
Steve says yes.

It’s 2015 and Steve hasn’t been able to sleep in what feels like years. He’s jittery and exhausted and shouldn’t be wandering around in Crown Heights alone, but, here he is, doing it anyway.
He stops inside a bar, passably crowded and dimly lit so he can hide himself in a corner.
He’s just finished his beer when the bartender gives him a bourbon.
“It’s on the guy over there,” the bartender says, inclining his head.
The man in question moves closer to Steve and Steve can make out the curve of his jaw, the dark hair, familiar blue eyes. His stomach drops. There’s no way.
“Jack?” he asks, stunned.
Jack smiles that same rueful grin, looking the same but for a sadness that lingers in his eyes.
“You know,” he says. “That night long ago, you kinda neglected to mention that you were Captain America.”
Steve snorts. “You didn’t tell me, whatever this is,” he says, gesturing at him.
Jack settles next to him. “It’s a long story,” he says.
“Why don’t you tell it to me?”
And Jack does.
