"no but that’s the entire thing. When Dany’s story starts in season 1/book 1, she doesn’t think she’s very powerful either. She feels like she’s completely powerless because her life is completely controlled by other people and she’s just a scared little girl who just wants to go back home. But as her narrative goes on, she begins to realize that she has more power inside of her than what the people around her wanted her to believe that she had. Dany’s season 1/book 1 story is a story about a scared little girl in a position of powerlessness who discovers her inner strength and uses it to makes herself powerful and to rid her life of the things that made her feel powerless. So yeah you could toTALLY BE MODERN AU DANY BUT YOU’RE JUST AT THE START OF YOUR JOURNEY AND WHEN YOU REACH YOUR DESTINY IT WILL BE GLORIOUS.
