โฉ i love many versions of the phantom of the opera but you will mostly find leroux poto, alw poto, and yeston & kopit phantom / the 1990 poto miniseries here. i archive info on the korean productions of alw poto and y&k phantom often. there's a variety of broadway, west end, korean, and european musicals here as well as some other interests - video games, music, books, comics, etc.

I'm a flop who forgot to take a picture of the cast board so just putting main cast from memory. Anyway I was so sad I missed the tour in 2023 because I kept failing lotto (and I was busy saving for my trip where...I was going to see Les Mis in Busan so I couldn't buy a full ticket lol) but yay I won this time I was so happy (is that the word for seeing Les Mis...?) despite being crushed like a soda can against the wall
shoutout to the guy at les mis last night who decided the absolute best time to loudly open a bag of chips and crunch nonstop was exactly right when valjean started dying
hwang gunha just got cast in frozen as hans (as expected lol) and i highly doubt son wongeun would raoul again for a variety of reasons so i guess weโre getting fully new raouls next poto run
i feel like clowning dongseok after my last reblog about kim sohyun & son junho i need to share that dongseok has gotten drunk and called up sohyun in the middle of the night telling her he wants ๊ณ๋๋ง์ด / gyeran-mari (rolled omelette, similar to tamagoyaki) and she ended up getting a special pan to use whenever she makes it for him he really just makes himself at home there lmao

i have so many comparison posts for y&k erik line/lyric differences drafted ill release them eventually but first will def be the monologue after 'home' when hes offering lessons to christine because thats where they do the most playing around with what they choose to say specifically to christine and you really get a good feel for what that particular erik's personality is like the vibes really are so very different per actor
emk's phantom proshot wouldve hit soooo different if they had scheduled hong kyungsoo as carriere for their filming day like it kinda kills me that i've seen hong carriere with every erik hes worked with except for kyurik i wish i could know what they were like together because that man's choices make me like ugly crying levels of ill one of the best at selling the "gerard is a fucking bastard coward loser but even so erik is his entire life he really does love him so very much and he's really trying to do the best he can even if he's useless and still totally doing an awful job at it" he does not feel like he views erik like a blight on his life that shouldve just been put down like a sick animal like erik really is his baby it's so important to act in a way that makes 'you are my own' a believable and emotional scene when you get to it!! then you get to the very end of the show when theyre turning off the lights about to close the curtains and everyone's mics have been cut but hong carriere's sobs are so loud the entire theater hears it and youre like i'm going to go run into oncoming traffic now thanks
the crazy thing about doctor who is that it really is the best show ever for 30 seconds at a time. you never know when those 30 seconds will be. sometimes they happen multiple times in a single episode and sometimes you wait years and years and years. and the best part is those 30 seconds are surrounded by the worst show ever, which is also doctor who

was revisiting a fave ryurik x soonchristine performance and during the forest scene, when introducing the morning birds to christine, he begins whistling the tune he and christine practiced singing during their lessons. he tells christine to give it a try and she fails and shyly says "i cant do it" and erik says "its okay its okay there has to be something you cant do better than the teacher, right?" im bonking him over the head
