Harley was humming as she skipped down the hallway. She wasn’t scared at all, yet she could hear a certain blonde continue to snap and scold her for all of her actions. Who would have thought she would end up working with him. A hero. She stops and lifts her bat to smack a man who came around the corner, beating him till he was unconscious before taking his gun and the other weapons. Just then she turns and sees the familiar man running towards her. “Ya can’t ruin my fun. Before ya get mad at me, he was raising his gun to shoot me, I had to defend myself.” She told him, putting her hands on her hips.

He just couldn’t forget him. It was hard, harder than he thought he would, and even after months, he was still setting out two plates for dinner or two mugs of coffee. Now, his coffee consumption had doubled and the food he had made versus the one he’d actually ate had lessened. He couldn’t eat, or sleep, and sometimes, he caught himself sleeping on Steve’s side of the bed, where all of his scent had long vanished.

Of course, he just wanted him to be happy.. But he wasn’t, couldn’t be in a time like this. Their friends tried to get him out and into the world again, but he barely managed to run errands and walk Lucky, before he flopped back onto the couch, face buried in the cushions.
