Thanks for the tag @steviemunson ! I’m always down to post about my WIP because it’s massive and I want to talk about it literally all the time.

Rules:  share the last line of your work in progress, then tag as many people as there are words in it.

He spends his time in other worlds while his body moves back and forth between Ohio and Kentucky. His copies of each volume of The Lord of the Rings are from three different libraries and are technically stolen, just like his copy of The Hobbit from West Virginia.

Eddie keeps every library card he gets. He has eight by the time he runs to Uncle Wayne’s.

Not even gonna count the words on this one, and I’m like 90% sure I’ve tagged the vast majority of my mutuals, so if this pops up on your dash, go for it!!

3. What’s a fic idea that you have but haven’t written yet?

I have TOO MANY of these, but the ones that come to mind are a long “how Steve and Eddie get together fic” and a sequel to “Eddie’s First Time.”

4. Do you prefer writing multi-chapter or one-shot fanfictions?

One shots all the way! I realized I don’t have the stamina and persistence to write a multi-chapter fic in most cases. (I say, currently working on a multi-chapter fic.) But usually I have smaller scale ideas and I think that most of my writing works more nicely in a one-shot.

8. What kind of document do you use to write?

I hand write all my first drafts, then edit and type them into Google docs, then copy paste the finals into ao3. This could probably be streamlined, but if it ain’t broke…

15. Are there words, phrases, mannerisms, or scenes you tend to use a lot?

I don’t know if there are? I tend to set a lot of things in bedrooms (keep your minds out of the gutter) because they’re intimate places, and I write a lot of intimate conversations between characters. Other than that, I’m not really sure. You guys can tell me though!!

I've had to do some thinking, but I'm set on Joyce Byers energy for you. You radiate the same kind of warm, comforting energy she has. Sturdy but friendly. Light and funny, until you need to be. Wise and a friend to all. Little animated creatures may or may not be sitting outside your window as we speak, and I adore that.

oh man i'd want SO many exotic animals as pets... maybe a spider monkey, honestly? or a wolf. not like as a pet either just as a companion. Yeah

siren: in a fantasy setting, would you be a warrior, rogue or mage?

i'd LOVE to say i'm cool enough to be a rogue, but i'd likely be a mage between the three of these classes ngl

azure: what is something that you do that makes you happy?

pokemon :) doing anything with pokemon makes me sooo so so so incredibly happy 💕

4. What’s a wip that’s fairly easy for you to get back into writing? Why?

My Eddie backstory (Stranger Things) s the easiest one for me to get back into mostly because it’s the one I’m most focused on. My Jake meets Layla (Moon Knight) has also been pretty easy because I have a mostly clear idea of where I want it to go.

5. Do you listen to music while writing or no? If yes, what’s your favorite kind of music to listen to?

I can’t listen to music when I write because I focus too much on the lyrics and end up writing those down instead of the actual story!

8. Describe your current wip in a sentence.

It’s snippets of Eddie Munson’s life, from some of his first memories to him getting up on the cafeteria table.

16. Do you count brainstorming/outlining/daydreaming as part of the writing process? Why or why not?

Absolutely yes. I weed out and explore so many ideas this way before I even start drafting. It saves me time in the long run, I think.

20. How do you usually come up with story ideas?

Depends on the idea! A lot of my stories start off with one line that I build around. (For example, chapter 2 of “One Touch Starved Firebender, Please” was born from its first line: “Hakoda likes the Fire Lord.”)

As for some others, they usually start with “what ifs.” “What if Azula were banished with Zuko?” “What if we knew more about Eddie’s life?” “What if Jake met Layla?”
