I was gonna request 7 or 9, but given that I go by the nickname "Ten" a lot, makes sense to take mile 10, then, ne? Easier!
Akk, the other two numbers were taken so I gave you 9!

damn...someone called 13...i'll go with 14 then...that is like a hundred years from mile 13. :)
Also taken! How bout 17? I'd love to think of your lovely voice asking me "How you like your eggs!" right before I get to eat eggs.

Curse me for mile 13 if you want.
13 was called, how bout 6? 6 is a nice number! My torn ligament tends to hurt around mile 6!
I just read the story you, Ming Doyle and Jordie Bellaire did for the Vertigo Witching Hour anthology and I have to say that last page nearly made me jump out of my skin. Well done to all involved, it was a fantastic story.
Thank you so much! Loved working with Ming and Jordie and Greg on that.
And that idea's been crawling around in my head* for years and years.
*Er... so to speak.
When did Greg Land start tracing in earnest? I'm just wondering because I've been reading a lot of 90s and early 2000s Birds of Prey and Nightwing recently and noticed that for the most part everything he was producing in those books was of good quality, with the very occasional page looking like it was photo-referenced rather than being outright traced. I must assume it was during his Crossgen days that he heard the dual siren songs of the lightbox and of Photoshop but I don't know for sure.
As far as I'm concerned his Birds Of Prey work is his best work. Unfortunately there's a lot of evidence that while he wasn't tracing porn, he was tracing directly off other artists, which in my opinion is worse. It's one thing to trace/reference photos, but tracing other artists is stealing and that's not okay.
The artist-tracing photos were posted way back in the earlier days of this blog (I know because I submitted them to it once upon a time). You'll find them near the end of the submission tag. But here's a link to one of those posts.
