Would th bots still delete a blog if you have reblogged but not posted any of the music?

I have no idea, Anon. I imagine it’s because corporations are inherently assholes and like to cause grief for everyone if they’re not being paid exorbitant sums of money. If you have more questions I’d suggest asking stewardessme. I’m just reblogging her(?) heads-up posts, since I have a fair amount of followers and I’d hate for anyone’s blog to get deleted over this nonsense.

I just got email from stewardish:

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry has been engaging in takedown trollery, and my tumblr account has been suspended due to a song I posted in April of 2014, "The Rains of Castomere." I've asked tumblr to restore my account. If tumblr does not, I will not create a new account and return to tumblr. Three years of work blown away because of a shitty DMCA bot takedown. Don't want to put any time into a website like that. Feel free to share this news through tumblr. Holy fucking cheezits.
