How do we teach our children to value Nature? How much time should they spend outside?
With more and more teenagers on their screens, we will have a generation of parents that will value screen time over Nature. We can only perpetuate Stewards of the Earth by showing our kids that we Value Nature. How do we do this? We get off the screen and start spending outside. Forests, Parks, Tiny Gravel Patch in front of the apartment...WHEREVER!
The academy of Pediatrics recommends at LEAST an hour a day. In general, 30 to 60 minutes of outdoor play time per day but even 10 minute “chunks” are a good idea.
