i don't even care when my friends are late in terms of like... making plans and them not being on time (unless our plans are super time sensitive and the lateness eats into that or means canceling)

but it is irritating when it's not communicated to me cause if i know you left late or aren't ready yet, i can dick around and chill out, but if you don't communicate it at all it's like... okay now i'm the jackass sitting around and waiting... this is especially bad when we're meeting somewhere so i look like i've been dumped just standing there or sitting in my car

like i understand some delays can't be helped (traffic) but even then... dictate a text or some shit. an incoherent voice-to-text message is better than just leaving me hanging
