So Nic and Nack both infiltrate Albion and the Echidnas there take them in (two sinister-looking thugs with guns on their belts mind you), and I kid you not, they sit them down and discuss Knuckles and the idea of the two bounty hunters taking him in. Why they couldn’t hire someone else, contact the Echidnaopolis police force, or do it themselves, I don’t freaking know. All I know is that the peaceful  Albion council are now painted as the anti-heroes, or “bad guys” who want to capture and study Knuckles to see what exactly is wrong with him.

This is the only appearance of Knuckles in this “Knuckles-themed” story. He’s meditating after becoming green and all-powerful in the last issue. He’s also thinking about his dad’s intentions, of Dimitri, being strong-looking and yet bland, and hoping there are answers to his questions on Angel Island...you know, the only things Penders ever writes Knuckles as!
