Shirby is just a mere eight inch orb. He had absolutely no fear wandering right up to something much larger than him. Like this seven foot tall creature who could surely punt him a football field’s length if it so desired.

“Hi.” 

He’d waved up at this thing.

it’s not like stitches would ever pass up getting some sort of praise.

     wait —  was  he  being  serious ?  he  can ....  he  can  pet  him .  he  can  pet  him !!  eyes  sparkle  in  enthusiasm .  to  his  delight ,  he  goes  to  pet  him  but  then  he  realizes  a  tiny  problem .  stitches  is  kinda ...  tall .

     with  otto  standing  at  a  mere  5′0″ ,  stitches  stands  at  7′1″ ,  which  isn’t  exactly  the  ideal  petting  height .  he  taps  his  chin  for  a  second .  he  needs  a  solution .  he  needs  to  pet  him .  he  doesn’t  want  to  let  this  opportunity  pass  him .

There's a startled shout as the door to the little apartment is knocked off it's hinges. She's going to have to fix that later. There isn't much time to react as the giddy monarch places hands on her shoulders and shakes. Hands fly up to her mask to prevent it falling off, and her voice is uneasy as she speaks.

"S-Sir- pl-ease... I don't li-ike April Fools!"

It was hard to speak when she was being shaken around like a ragdoll.

all he hears is story time.  he’s quick to congregate with some lumas to the designated place, only to find that it’s stitches, not his mother, telling a story. now this is... an interesting turn of events. hopefully it’s nothing that would disturb a bunch of little star babies.
