Hello! This account is about the interesting world of stick bombs! I may also talk about similar kinetic chain reaction mechanisms in the future. It is run by @migsy1.
Stick bombs are made up of popsicle sticks/tongue depressors that are weaved together in a way that creates a lot of tension so that when a stick is removed, they all pop up!
The word 'bomb' in the name is purely due to the way the sticks fly in the air, and has nothing to do with actual dangerous explosives.
I will post what I make, share tips and tricks, and try to answer questions! You don't have to, but it would be really cool to see what you may create! Just make sure to add “stick bomb” to the tags!
When weaving, it's always a good idea to wear safety goggles or any other kind of protective eyewear since your eyes are really close to the sticks, and an accidental detonation could happen at any time.
