Stickmintober 2025 Day 26: Stealing the Candy

I guess the real Candy Mountain was the kidneys we stole along the way...

I've never given a huge amount of thought to my interpretation of TR, but this prompt reminded me of an internet classic which in turn inspired this art I made. The idea of Henry and Ellie being extremely annoying to Charlie (and dragging him into bizzare situations that may or may not involve people singing and exploding) is really funny to me. I don't think they'd actually steal his kidney, but they'd probably make it seem like they did to screw with him a little more. You know what they say: when you have an evil crush on a boy, lock him in a dark cave, knock him unconscious, and draw a scar on his side so that he thinks you stole his organs, then rinse and repeat!

Anyway, I'm probably going to head to bed soon, so I'll see you tomorrow!
