I drew this a bit ago, but it’s still one of my favorite sketches. I was replaying Horizon on PC and I managed to keep one Strider alive for the majority of the game. I named him Charles and he’s sorta become a loved “character” in my RP server.

These are six of my favorite characters. Bilbo and the Beast should have been there, but there’s some pattern in these six. Long hair and beard!

Just throwing out there , you don’t seem to like Aragorn , but being a trans boy , a huge reason I identified with Strider was his obvious self despise , he was raised by elves and Elrond gave me the impression he raised Aragorn to Believe that because he’s human , he’s trash. Elves are perfect and humans are pieces of shit and Aragorn grew to hate his own race , he despised himself for being human and treated himself as such , being trans and looking at this feminine body I hated I could relate

Oh I really do love Aragorn, I just don’t talk about him allthe time XD But I do really like him! And that’s a really neat perspective.I’ve never really thought about him being raised to hate being human, but thefact of the matter is that Elrond has less than kind opinions about men, andelves don’t have good opinions on humans at all. So it’s very plausible that hewas raised with a lot of self hate (now I really gotta think about that). Elrondprobably hadn’t intended to, but I’m sure he projected some of his feelings on Aragorn.

That said I’m really glad you can relate to him throughthat. It’s really amazing when we can find a character that we not only like,but can identify with as far as struggles go. And that just happens to beAragorn for you :D

I now call him my child. 

Don’t worry, he’ll fit in perfectly with my large platypus child Regnold McFartysus, and Ticci Toby, my other children.

Anywho... This is just how I like to draw Dave.
