Don’t Hold Back (My Hero Academia)
This request came in during the 12 Days, but as it didn’t completely fit the criteria I’d set up I was unable to make it an official fic for the event. However, I loved the idea so much I couldn’t pass it up, so I saved it. I see you, anon! This one’s for you! :D
Kirishima glanced up just as Bakugou slapped a hand over his own mouth, eyes fixed on his phone and grinning widely behind his palm. Kiri gave him a confused smile. “What? Something funny?”
After a moment, Bakugou removed his hand, still grinning. “This video.”
“You can laugh out loud, you know. I don’t mind.”
Bakugou shook his head. “It’s stupid.”
“Doesn’t mean you can’t laugh at it.”
Kirishima blinked, his smile disappearing. “You think your laugh is stupid?”
“It absolutely is not.” Kirishima kicked him under the table. “Don’t say that, dude. I like hearing you laugh. You don’t do it enough.”
Bakugou’s smile was gone now, too. He kept his eyes fixed on his screen, scrolling. “Yeah, because it’s stupid and embarrassing.”
“You’ve heard me laugh,” Bakugou muttered. “You know why.”
“I really don’t.” Kirishima put his own phone away and leaned forward. “Bakugou, there’s nothing wrong with your laugh. You’ve got to stop thinking that.”
“Just drop it, spiky hair. You’re not gonna change my mind.”
Oh, really? Kirishima smirked and stood up from the table, finally drawing Bakugou’s eyes away from his phone.
“What? What’s with that look? Hey! N-Nohoho!” Bakugou dropped his phone on the table as he used both hands to try and shove Kirishima away from his sides, where fingers were plunged and wiggling. “Dohohohohohon’t! Kirishimahahaha!”
“Nope. Not getting away from me,” Kirishima said simply, easily following along with Bakugou as he pushed his chair away from the table to try and defend himself better. He only succeeded in opening up his defenses so Kiri could get a clearer shot at his true weak spot. Grinning victoriously, he shoved his hands into his friend’s upper ribs and drilled.
“NOHOHOHOHO!!” Bakugou cried, smiling and laughing and forcing himself up from his seat to better fight off the redhead. “Knohohohohohock it off! I mehehehean it! Stop!”
“Nuh-uh.” Kirishima hardened his body any time Bakugou tried to land a blow, protecting himself while still tickling anywhere he could. Eventually Bakugou realized he wasn’t going to win this way – and he couldn’t use his quirk while inside the dorms – so he covered his mouth with both hands and tried to muffle his laughter. “Oh, no, you don’t. That’s the whole reason you’re in this mess, dude.” Kirishima shoved Bakugou against the table, finally able to tickle harder now that he wasn’t also fighting to stay in control of the situation. Behind his hands, Bakugou’s face was beet red. “Let it out, Bakugou. I won’t stop until you do.”
Embarrassed and frustrated, Bakugou made one last attempt to get away by punching Kirishima’s chest with both hands as hard as he could. Once again Kiri hardened himself, then quickly snatched up his friend’s wrists with one hand while finding that spot at the top of Bakugou’s ribs just below his underarm and digging in as hard as he could.
“BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” Now unable to muffle his laughter, it came streaming out in loud, endless waves. Bakugou twisted and writhed as much as possible, but Kirishima kept him pinned to the table with no way to escape his predicament, and it only made him feel more vulnerable, more ticklish. “STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! KIRISHIMA YOU JEHEHEHEHEHEHERK!!”
“See? Your laugh is awesome!” Kiri said with a smile, never letting up. “It’s loud and fun, just like you. Nothing wrong with it at all.”
“S-STAHAHAHAHAP, I HAHAHAHAHAHATE IT!! KIRI – NOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!” Bakugou shrieked, switching tactics and trying to bury his face in Kiri’s chest now, since he couldn’t hide behind his hands. “STOP IT!!”
“Nope.” Kirishima pushed Bakugou back even further so he was awkwardly laying on top of the table, stretching his arms above him to pin his wrists there and make access easier. He grinned at how hysterical this seemed to make his friend, as his thrashing and screaming began anew.
“NONONONO!! KNOCK IT OHOHOHOHOHOFF!!” Bakugou couldn’t even kick his legs in this position; the tickling was getting to be unbearable. “STOP!! KIRISHIMAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
“Say it~” Kiri teased relentlessly, never letting up on that spot that made him lose his mind like this. “Say it’s not stupid. Otherwise I’ll keep going.”
“OKAYOKAY FIHIHIHIHIHINE IT’S NOHOHOHOHOT STUPID!!”
Bakugou would kill him when this was over. “MY LAHAHAHAHAHAUGH, YOU MOHOHOHORON!! IT’S NOT STUPID!!”
Kirishima smiled patiently at him. “Say it all together, Bakugou. You can do it.”
“GOD DAHAHAHAHAHAHANG IT, KIRISHIMA!!” Bakugou’s defiance was flying out the window the longer this went on. He couldn’t take much more of this. “MY LAHAHAUGH ISN’T S-STUHUHUHUHUPID!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!” He let his head fall back onto the table as laughter poured from him unfiltered now, his will to fight gone. “PLEASE, STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”
Finally, Kirishima let him go. Bakugou very nearly collapsed onto the floor, his face painted with a dark red blush, gasping for breath. He was even shaking a little.
“Dang, Bakugou, you’re more ticklish than I thought you were,” Kirishima said with a laugh.
Bakugou shot a glare up at him. “This changes nothing, you idiot. Forcing me to say something while I’m helpless doesn’t mean I believe it.”
“Well, we’ll just have to work on that, won’t we?” Kiri teased, helping his friend get back to his feet. “Seriously, though. I really like hearing you laugh like that.”
“Yeah?” Bakugou’s glare became a wicked smirk. “Word around the dorm is you like being made to laugh like that.”
“I – w-wahaHAHAHAIT!!” Kirishima screeched with surprise as Bakugou tackled him to the floor and started tickling mercilessly. “WAHAHAHAHAHAIT I’M S-SOHOHOHOHORRY!! PLEASE, BAKUGOHOHOHOHOU!!”
