Stigbergets Double Headed DDH West Coast IPA (Picked up at Systembolaget in Stockholm). A 3 of 4. If you just drink this blindly, it’s quite good -- lots of tropical fruit and citrus, and a hefty, even slightly creamy body. But it’s not exactly West Coast. Still good, though!

Siebenhundertneunzigstes Bier:

Stigbergets Bryggery West Coast India Pale Ale 6,5% vol. Göteborg, Schweden

Trübes, recht dunkles Goldgelb, mit frischen Aromen von Zitrus- und Tropenfrüchten. Geschmacklich geht es fruchtig weiter, dazu kommt ein wuchtiger Malzkörper, der sich mit einer sehr starken Hopfenbitteren duelliert. Im Nachtrunk reiten beide vereint dem Sonnenuntergang entgegen. Quasi. 8/10

Stigbergets Existens Essens Transcendens IPA (Picked up at Systembolaget in Stockholm). A 3 of 4. Smells of stone and tropical fruit, and the body is classic NE hazy in heft. Tasty and packs a lot into 5.9%, but doesn’t exactly stand out among the many, many in this style.

Stigbergets / Wylam / Cloudwater / Verdant / Northern Monk Brexodus NE IPA on tap at Innis & Gunn in Edinburgh. A 4 of 4. This is legit -- smells of a huge mix of tropical fruit and more straight ahead orange citrus. The body has many of the same qualities with a nice fruity back, and slightly oily throughout. A little on the sweet side, even in the finish, but quite enjoyable to drink, and very, very complex and fruity.
